Why Do Liberals Love Terrorists?

Monday, November 16th, 2009

It’s sickening how many liberals attempt to elicit sympathy for terrorists. Under the guise of compassion, they prevaricate the facts, discount the innocent that have been murdered, and even make excuses for these cold-blooded killers. Why?

Nidal Malik Hasan is a case in point. This is a man who equated terrorist suicide bombers with a US soldier that threw himself on a grenade to save his colleagues. He said that terrorists have a noble cause. He attempted to contact al Qaeda on multiple occasions. He yelled “Allahu Akbar” before opening fire and taking innocent lives, connoting his support for the extremists who wage “holy war” against the US.

Still, liberals want to make sure that Hasan is not tried as a terrorist. The liberal news-spin site Drudge Retort ran a headline saying “FBI: Hasan Not Involved in Terrorism” linking to an article in the Houston Chronicle.
Drudge-Retort-Lies

But this is not at all what the article reports. The FBI actually said “he was not involved in terrorist activities when a joint terrorism task force crossed paths with him last year. [...] The investigation to date has not identified a motive, and a number of possibilities remain under consideration.”

After examining commentary like this, it might be easier to understand why some liberals think Hasan isn’t a terrorist: they have the reading comprehension skills of a third grader. If Hasan thinks terrorists have a “noble cause,” doesn’t this indicate a motive? If he attempted to contact al Qaeda on multiple occasions, doesn’t this indicate premeditation? If he yelled “Allah is greatest” while killing innocent people, can we reasonably believe this was anything other than an act of terrorism? Whether or not Hasan had direct contact with al Qaeda, Bin Laden himself has encouraged lone acts of terrorism. So does it really matter that Hasan acted alone?

With the facts heavily stacked against them, liberals have tried to excuse Hasan as simply being insane. But this position implies that some terrorists are actually sane. Do liberals think that killing thousands of innocent people is the behavior of a perfectly sane person?

Instead of sweeping this under the rug, we need to treat the Fort Hood incident for what it really is - an act of terrorism. Let’s not forget that there were plenty of warning signs; denying the problem allowed the Fort Hood Massacre to happen.

Obama’s Magic Shield

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

Once again, President Obama has proven he doesn’t have a clue.

Lately, he’s been saying that our values will shield us from terrorism. But despite Obama’s code of conduct crusade, Osama bin Laden has issued another threat to the United States. He says “Obama has planted new seeds of hatred” and Americans should be prepared to suffer the consequences. So exactly how is our president going to protect us with his enchanted value system? And have “values” really inspired terrorism in the past? Who’s values? Bill Clinton’s values? Bush had only been in office a short time when 9/11 occurred.

Meanwhile, our president seems perfectly content to remain in his magical world of fantasy and imagination. The White House issued a statement saying this isn’t a real threat, al Qaeda is just trying to distract people from Obama’s speech. Instead of throwing a temper tantrum about not receiving enough attention, maybe Obama should get out of campaign mode and start thinking about a realistic strategy to keep this country safe.

Osama bin Laden, Alive and Well

Osama bin Laden, Alive and Well

The threat reveals that Osama bin Laden is alive, aware of current events, and in communication with the outside world. Remember when President Obama said that Osama isn’t a threat as long as he’s hiding in a cave somewhere? Man, and people thought George W. Bush was stupid.

Now Obama is even suggesting that the United States is one of the largest Muslim nations. Sorry, but a two percent Muslim population doesn’t qualify this country as a Muslim nation by any stretch of the imagination. Much less one of the largest Muslim nations in the world.

This man is just pathetic. He really thinks that everyone will like us better if he goes around telling the world that Americans have poor values. Maybe he could try reminding radical Muslims that we were the ones who liberated Kuwaiti Muslims, protected Kosovoian Muslims, helped Bosnian Muslims, and feed Somali Muslims, just to name a few.

Washington Blames 9/11 on Canada

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

How did Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano land her job?

Earlier this month, Napolitano claimed that conservatives are “the most dangerous domestic terrorism threat in the United States.” She also said that our veterans should have fewer civil liberties because they are “disillusioned” and “extremely dangerous.” And now she says Canada is responsible for 9/11! Napolitano is the one that’s disillusioned!

First, the 9/11 Commission confirmed that the terrorists did not come through Canada. So why is Napolitano using this as an argument to strengthen security at the Canadian border instead of the Mexican border? Second, why is she insulting Canada by falsely laying blame upon them? No wonder Obama thinks Americans are arrogant… He hangs out with his appointees all day!

But that’s not all. She also says that we don’t need any more security at the Mexican border, despite the 6,000 drug related homicides that occurred there last year. I haven’t read much suggesting the Canadians are this dangerous. And for some reason she even said that illegal immigration is “not a crime”. Why do we have immigration laws if people don’t have to follow them?

How to Burn a Billion Dollars

Friday, February 27th, 2009

Now the US government is going to send $900 million to help rebuild Gaza. Rebuild? Bombings occur in Gaza all the time. And as long as Hamas is bombing Israelies, it will probably continue.

That’s only the tip of the iceberg of this fallacy.

Apparently, they’ve already forgotten that whatever aid we send to the Palestinians eventually ends up in the hands of Hamas. Just earlier this month, the UN had to discontinue shipments because they haven’t been able to stop Hamas police from stealing all the supplies. This militant group has killed tens of thousands of civilians and executes suicide-bombings on a regular basis. Why are we funding their war?

Hamas Supporters in Gaza

Hamas Supporters in Gaza

Why do people think that Obama’s policies will make terrorists like the United States? On the contrary, Al Qaeda is mocking him! Terrorists aren’t rational people… Think about it, they blow themselves up!

Furthermore, is it really a good idea to send a billion dollars to Palestine when we are in a deepening recession with no sight in end? Actions like this have caused China to rethink backing the US dollar, and if they pull out their investment our money will be practically worthless. And you think the economy is bad now…

Obama Brings Terror to the US?

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009

Obama recently approved $20 million for the migration of Gaza refugees. Where are these refugees going to “migrate,” you ask?

Well, the docket certainly implies they will be coming to the U.S., since some of the funding will be allotted to our Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration of the Department of State. A primary function of this agency is “admitting refugees to the United States.”

An executive order designed to allow Palestinians from Gaza to resettle in the United States is frightening. These are the same people who voted Hamas into power en masse. And 55% of them support suicide bombings.

How many Hamas operatives and other terrorists will slip into the U.S. through this huge influx of Gaza refugees? Thanks to Obama’s soft-on-terror attitude, they shouldn’t have a problem doing so.

The primary purpose of the Government should be to protect us. But Obama seems to think the government is supposed to do everything but protect us. Major media outlets have not reported on this order, and only time will tell the outcome.
