Amid the doom and gloom of the tanking stock market (thank you, Mr. Geithner), Americans have another thing to worry about…their health. More specifically, our health care system is getting a government overhall, and it’s enough to make me sick.

Buried within the birth control and TV coupons are provisions that will give the U.S. government broad control over the way the system is run. Tom Daschle, an ardent supporter of socialized medicine, has provided the framework for the new healthcare system. If you have any knowledge of his stance on this issue, I’m sure that your insides just turned (assuming you also have a brain).

The procedures we are able to receive and drugs that we can buy will be determined by a government “board,” giving unaccountable beauracrats the right to play God with American lives. The bill specifically says that the government will “guide” doctors’ decisions. The idea is to make health care more affordable by restricting access to only those procedures and treatments that are “cost-effective.” What the plan fails to take into consideration is that each of us respond differently to treatments: “one-size-fits-all” medicine doesn’t work. If an cancer drug is in the experimental stages, it may turn out to be “effective” and save many lives; but the government may step in and determine that it won’t save enough lives to justify the cost.

Another major problem is the control that the board will have over Medicare. Currently, if a doctor believes that a procedure is necessary, Medicare usually covers it. However, now the government will determine whether the procedure is “cost effective.” Meaning, if you are 70 and in need of a life-saving and/or prolonging procedure, you’re probably set to check out soon anyway. What’s another 10 years of life when the government can save millions and provide digital television to many “non-working” Americans! Plus, senior citizens are living too long and collecting too much Social Security already - they need to save some for the rest of us!

The end result will look something like Britain’s National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE, what a joke!) and National Health Service (NHS), a health care system that many liberal congressmen drool over. It’s telling that this same system has been accused of causing 17,000 preventable deaths every year and destroying the hopes of the many dying cancer patients. Once a health care system that foreigners would flock to, ours may soon be much worse that anyone could imagine.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner unveiled his financial sector rescue plan today… Immediately afterward, stocks plummeted across the board - down almost 500 points in all today.

To investors, the incompetence of this man is obvious. They want to know why “critical details of the plan remained unanswered, despite the weeks of planning leading up to Tuesday’s announcement.”

Geithner’s best response is, “We are not going to put out the details, until we get it right.” What does that even mean? Blind trial and error, without even telling the American people what the government is up to?

Geithner also said they will “try things we’ve never tried before. We will make mistakes. We will go through periods in which things get worse…” That sounds exactly like something Wall Street likes to hear.

Again, you can probably guess who we have to thank for this pinhead appointment. What was Obama thinking? This guy is one of the reasons we are in the crisis we now face. He’s a total moron. He even cheated on his taxes, and now he’s in charge of the IRS! He’s employed an illegal immigrant. He’s a crooked thief like all of Obama’s other friends.

FEAR. It’s the only apparatus that democrats have left to get their “stimulus” bill passed, especially as the general public becomes more aware of their idiotic plan. According to the latest poll, only 37% of the nation supports the stimulus package in its current form.

Now democrats have resorted to the drastic measures of making up statistics. Nancy Pelosi said “every month we do not have an economic recover package 500 MILLION Americans lose their jobs.” 500 million? As in 200 million more than the entire U.S. population? Could she have meant 500 thousand? That figure would still be inaccurate. It’s just smoke in mirrors, a scare tactic to make people support her.

President Obama is using the same tactics, saying if the bill isn’t passed now we will enter into a depression which “we may not be able to reverse.” But remember, this is coming from the same guy who said the national deficit doesn’t matter.

Apparently the Democratic Caucus agrees that the deficit doesn’t matter. They are spending $100,000 of taxpayer money on a trip to the country club this weekend…

Nearly 60 people have died in Kentucky due to the recent ice storm, and most of them slowly froze to death while trapped in their own homes. Hundreds more could be dead; the local governments simply don’t have the man power or the equipment to cover the widespread disaster area.

Despite Obama’s campaign promise, there has been a shocking lack of support from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Kentucky’s Emergency Management Director Randell Smith said the 25 local National Guardsmen who have responded “have no chain saws to clear fallen trees.”

“Some areas we haven’t even visited yet,” Smith said. “We don’t even know that they’re alive.”

Where has Obama been during this emergency? Well, Monday he took off work to read to second graders. “We were just tired of being in the White House,” he explained. He hadn’t even been there for two weeks yet! And still nothing has been done about this emergency.

Of course the media won’t question him, but people are dying while Obama’s busy with publicity stunts. Without showing signs of remorse, he loosens his tie and cranks up the heat in the White House.

Obama Cranks Up the Heat

The following is an abridged account of Obama’s racist history. Please note that it is comprised almost entirely of direct quotes from Obama, as well as his former pastor.

While Obama denounced Reverend Wright, he approved of his “social gospel” focusing on Africa, saying “and I agree with him on that.” Well, here is Reverend Wright’s social doctrine, which Obama agrees with:

1. Commitment to God
2. Commitment to the Black Community
3. Commitment to the Black Family
4. Dedication to the Pursuit of Education
5. Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence
6. Adherence to the Black Work Ethic
7. Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect
8. Disavowal of the Pursuit of Middleclassness
9. Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the Black Community
10. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions
11. Pledge allegiance to all Black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System
12. Personal commitment to embracement of the Black Value System

This doctrine was posted on the church website for many years (as seen below), but was removed during the presidential campaign.

Now, if another church were to adopt this same doctrine, but used the word ‘white’ instead of the word ‘black,’ wouldn’t that be considered extremely racist? If so, how is the doctrine of Trinity United - the social gospel that President Obama said he agrees with - not racist?

The fact of the matter is that Reverend Wright made racist anti-American statements long before the controversial “God Damn America” sermon during the election. Wright said that the government was responsible for “inventing the HIV virus as a means of genocide against people of color.” The Sunday after 9/11, Wright said that the terrorist attack was “America’s chicken’s coming home to roost.” Wright also said, “If God is not for us and against whites, then he is a murderer, and we’d best kill him.”

Obama denied hearing any of this, but he even quoted some of Wright’s racial remarks in his book, Dreams from My Father, on page 159: “White folks’ greed runs a world in need, apartheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere. That’s the world! On which hope sits!”

That sermon, entitled “The Audacity of Hope,” inspired Obama so much that he named his next book after it.

But let’s look at a few more quotes out of Dreams from My Father:

“That hate hadn’t gone away [...] blaming white people - some cruel, some ignorant, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives.” -Barack Obama, Dreams from My Father, Page 236

“I ceased to advertise my mother’s race at the age of twelve or thirteen, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was integrating myself with the whites.” -Barack Obama, Dreams from My Father, Page 6

“The emotion between the races could never be pure [...] The other race [white] would always remain just that: menacing, alien and apart.” -Barack Obama, Dreams from My Father, Page 71

“[...] The African could never win against the white man because the black man only wanted to work with his own family or clan, while all white men worked to increase their power.” -Barack Obama, Dreams from My Father, Page 223

“The white man alone is like an ant, Onyango would say. He can be easily crushed. But like an ant, the white man works together. His nation, his business-these things are more important to him than himself. He will follow his leaders and not question orders. Black men are not like this.” -Barack Obama on the teachings of his grandfather, Dreams from My Father, Page 223

“It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.” -Barack Obama, Dreams from My Father, Page 59

These quotes aren’t taken out of context. But don’t take my word for it. I encourage you to read Dreams from My Father, just so you can see what kind of man our President is. In fact, if I know you then I have a copy you can borrow.

No one said it better than House republican leader, John Boehner. “Oh…my…God.”

He was commenting on the current stimulus package that House democrats have introduced, just in time for Obama’s rise to the throne.  The phrase ”stimulus package” is being used very loosely, as most of the bill is going towards ridiculous welfare programs and liberal spending that will do little to get our economy out of the trouble it’s in.  At best, it will encourage people to sit lethargically in front of their new taxpayer funded Digital TVs and eat more government subsidized food.

A great deal of the money will go to extending unemployment benefits for out-of-work Americans and creating new “green jobs”  (i.e. lightbulb changers).  While retrofitting government offices, building energy efficient infrastructure, and investing in a green energy grid are all noble causes, there is a disconnect between these projects and stabilizing our economy.  This massive spending may create temporary jobs, but what happens when these projects are finished?  Will we continue to keep these “green collar” workers on the taxpayers’ payroll ad infinitum?

Also hidden in the bill among the other random allotments are the Obama “tax cuts.” Funny how the tax cuts were promised to families making under $250,000, yet the bill only rewards those that make less than $150,000.  By the time the bill is passed, it may be down to $75,000 or even $50,000, since it has become a liberal mentality that all the “wealthy” people should be punished for their hard work and success.  Let’s discriminate against those who create jobs, and see how this stimulus works.  Additionally, the “tax cuts,” as promised, are refundable. This article explains, “[b]ecause it’s refundable, Americans without income could apply for it.”. Without income?  Meaning, non-working Americans?  Meaning, welfare?  Someone explain this, because it doesn’t sound like a “tax cut” to me. But I digress…

Other funding includes: $20 billion to increase the food stamp benefits, $87 billion for an increase in the Medicaid matching rate, $1 billion to aid states in the collection of child support, another $1 billion toward preparations for the 2010 census, $4 billion to support local law enforcement, and $800 million to clean up toxic waste sites.  How exactly does this stimulate the economy?  Anyone can B.S. some tangential economic benefits from these programs, but at the heart of this “stimulus package” is porkbarrell spending on social welfare programs that would give any liberal a wet dream. In the words of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.”

But virtually all of Obama’s pals from Chicago are “flawed,” to say the least. And now his old friend, Governor Blagojevich, has been busted for trying to sell Obama’s vacated Senate seat.

Blagojevich has been under investigation for years due to other corruption charges, and wiretaps have recorded numerous attempts to peddle the position to the highest bidder: “I’ve got this and it’s fucking golden, and I’m not giving it up for fuckin’ nothing!”

Obama claims to have had no contact with the Governor regarding the Senate position, but his senior adviser said otherwise during a news broadcast last month:

Sounds a little nervous, don’t you think?

We also know that Blagojevich has at least spoken with Obama’s advisers, and repeatedly made references to the Obama team in recordings, such as, “They’re not willing to give me anything except appreciation. Fuck them.” Some individuals are lauding Obama’s team for not getting involved, but why didn’t they report Blagojevich to the proper authorities?

Let’s examine the pattern emerging here:

Obama began his political career in the home of Bill Ayers, an unrepentant terrorist who bombed the pentagon and said he “didn’t do enough damage.”

Obama went to the Church of Reverend Wright for 20 years, whose sermons repeatedly proclaim, “God damn America!” Obama also credits this man for the title of his book, The Audacity of Hope.

Obama received more than $500,000 towards his house from Tony Rezko, and while in the state Senate Obama represented a district that included 11 of Rezko’s 30 low-income housing projects. Rezko was later indicted for soliciting kickbacks; Federal Prosecuters maintain that $10,000 of the kickbacks went to Obama’s Senate campaign.

Obama campaigned for Governor Blagojevich in 2002 and 2006, and also served as one of his top advisers in 2002. During this time, Blagojich was also involved in Tony Rezkco’s scandal.

Sure, it’s possible that Obama is completely ignorant of his surroundings. Is this any more comforting, especially when you consider what could go on while he is President of the United States?

Realistically though, he’s probably as corrupt as the gang he runs with, and now his dirty hands will be all over the White House proceedings.

We already know he’s a liar…

About 2.5 million, according to Obama’s economic recovery plan. And the joke is on you, the American tax payer, because you’ll be footing the bill.

OK, sure, switching to energy efficient light bulbs is a fundamentally sound idea. The problem is that Obama mentioned this as one of the top three ways that jobs will be created through his recovery plan. There just aren’t that many light bulbs to replace! Furthermore, many government facilities have already upgraded to energy efficient utilities because it’s such an obvious way to cut costs. That’s right, it’s already been done!

This aspect of the recovery plan is possibly the most short-sighted solution to unemployment ever proposed. In less than six months, light bulb changers across America will be left in the dark again, wondering why they don’t have a job. Unless of course, Obama comes up with another bright idea - perhaps they could rake leaves in our national forests.

Unfortunately, the recovery plan doesn’t get much better than this. The next component of Obama’s plan grants “use-it-or-lose-it” appropriations to states and municipalities. This means that local governments will be spending tax dollars on things that they don’t really need just so they don’t lose the “free” money. Didn’t Obama once say he wanted to cut wasteful spending? Well, now you can expect to see even more extravagant pork barrel bills go through as we pave our streets with gold.

The third component of the recovery includes putting new computers in our schools. Again, new computers would be nice but it doesn’t solve the problem at hand! How many steps are involved in setting up a computer, maybe three? And it doesn’t exactly require a computer science degree to install Math Blasters. Purchasing the computers will cost 100 times more than the labor, and most computer components are manufactured overseas. We could probably create more jobs by simply shipping boatloads of cash to Asia.

Based on poll results and numerous surveys of the media, it seems apparent that uninformed voters and biased news sources won the election for Barack Obama.

First, it’s worth noting that many Obama voters were so politically uninformed it’s embarrassing:

57.4% of Obama voters could not correctly say which party controls congress, and more than half of these voters incorrectly thought Republicans control congress. Statistically, this performance is worse than random guessing!

More than a third of Obama voters didn’t know who Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid are. One democrat described Nancy Pelosi as “pretty cool,” but was unable to describe her roll in the government. The poll also indicated that substantially more republican voters were informed about Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.

Secondly, polls have revealed that many democrats knew very little about their own candidate:

88.4% could not correctly identify Obama as the candidate that said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket. Again, this is statistically worse than random guessing.

82.6% could not correctly say that Obama won his first election by getting his opponents kicked off the ballot.

56.1% of Obama voters didn’t know that Obama began his political career at the home of Bill Ayers, an unrepentant terrorist who said his bombings “didn’t do enough.”

Conversely, here’s what Obama voters knew about Sarah Palin:

94% of Obama voters correctly identified Palin as the candidate with a pregnant teenage daughter.

86% of Obama voters identified Palin as the candidate who spent $150,000 on a campaign wardrobe.

86.9 % of Obama voters thought that Palin said she could see Russia from her “house.” However, this quote actually came from Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live.

How did so many American’s gather such slanted knowledge? A study performed by a writer for the Washington Post may contain a few clues:

“[Washington Post] readers have been consistently critical of the lack of probing issues coverage and what they saw as a tilt toward Democrat Barack Obama. My surveys, which ended on Election Day, show that they are right on both counts.”

This “news” paper published 246% more laudatory opinion pieces exalting Barack Obama than the number of opinion pieces in favor of John McCain. And this only scratches the surface. The Post also had more stories dedicated to Obama, published more photos of Obama, and contained closer coverage of the Obama campaign. Simultaneously, the number of negative pieces released about McCain exceeded the number of negative Obama pieces by 181%. At least their slogan doesn’t proclaim The Post is fair and balanced.

This revolting degree of bias was exhibited by virtually every media outlet in America, according to Journalism.org:

Earlier this week, we discussed how president-elect Obama has played a central role in bringing the U.S. economy to its knees. Now let’s consider how his actions since the election have worsened the situation.

1.) For the incoming administration, economic advisers will be among the most consequential appointments. Yet even the New York Times disagrees with Mr. Obama’s decision, stating that two of his key advisers “have played central roles in policies that helped provoke today’s financial crisis. [...] unless they recognize their past mistakes, there is little hope that they can provide the sound judgment and leadership that the country needs to dig out of this desperate mess.”

2.) Obama has promised to raise capital gains taxes. Investing is risky - especially in today’s volatile market - and individuals will have less incentive to invest money if they are taxed more on their investments. This isn’t rocket science. Still, the president-elect has refused to say whether he will wait for the economy to improve before imposing his tax hike.

3.) Obama has promised to raise taxes on large corporations. Of course, the net result will be lower profit margins for the Fortune 500 and falling stock indexes. Again, Obama refuses to indicate whether he will delay the tax hike until conditions improve, which has created a great deal of unease among investors.

4.) Obama has promised more regulation for big business. Investors don’t get excited when they hear companies will have more hoops to jump through and additional regulatory penalties which can prevent businesses from expanding. 

5.) Obama endorses the Check Card bill, which will make it easier for unions to bully large and small businesses. This bill will eliminate the secret ballot, thus enabling union leaders to intimidate and coerce workers. Anyone who has taken American History is aware how overly-powerful unions can have an adverse effect on American business. Just look at what unions have done to the auto industry.

6.) Obama has promised to raise taxes on small businesses - the largest job producing segment of our economy. Sure, 95% of small businesses will fall below the tax threshold, but it’s the top 5% where a majority of new jobs are being created. Why would investors want to jump into the market when successful and growing companies are going to be punished?
