As Honduras fights to defend its democracy, Fidel Castro and President Obama object.

Hondurans have ousted President Manuel Zelaya for attempting to rewrite their constitution. Opponents of Zelaya have pointed out that he was illegally trying to expand the limits of his power and the length of his term. The initiative was rejected by Congress, the Public Ministry, the Supreme Electoral Court and the Supreme Court, among other entities, all of whom believe that the measure is not lawful.

Yet Obama disagrees with the citizens of Honduras who are fighting to protect democracy. He has proclaimed that Zelaya is the rightful leader of Honduras and that the US will help resolve the matter.

Meanwhile, Obama has sat idly by while protesters in Iran are shot by a seemingly illegitimate government.

Obama has pledged to “stand on the side of democracy.” Why then, do his views consistently align with dictators like Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez? We should keep a keen eye on how these affairs pan out, as similar events may soon transpire right here at home. We’ve already discussed Obama’s stance on fair elections…

Wasteful grants created in the past couple weeks:

Over $1 Million to create a massively multiplayer online game about NASA. And you thought failed space missions were a waste of money.

$10 Million to fund education in Cambodia. I suppose our public education is doing so well that we can spare the extra cash.

$20 Million to study Antarctica and “expand fundamental knowledge of the region.”

$75,000 to “interpret” a single historic location in America. Apparently this can be anything from an interpretive dance to an interactive website.

$100,000 to breed toads.

Wasteful spending in the “War Spending” legislation passed last week:

$7.7 Billion to help fight swine flu - an illness that is apparently less dangerous than the regular flu.

$13.2 Million to help rural air carriers continue flying to unpopular destinations.

$1 Billion to buy beat-up cars through the “cash-for-clunkers” program. Yet another bailout for the auto industry.

Another $5 Billion for the IMF (as if we haven’t given them enough money). Nevermind the state of our own economy and the falling value of the dollar.

Miscellaneous wasteful spending:

More than $2 Million each month so homeless people in Massachusetts can stay in hotels instead of homeless shelters.

More than $2000 per teenage girl in North Carolina if they graduate high school without getting pregnant.

Thousands of liberal Twitter users are shocked and disgusted by racism on the Landover Baptist Church website.

But Landover Baptist isn’t a real church. It was created by liberal activists to make Christians appear racist. Meanwhile, liberal masses lack the intellectual capacity to realize the website is a hoax. This page has been widely discussed throughout the liberal blogosphere because many liberal pea-brains think Landover is a real church.

Don’t liberals preach tolerance? Is it tolerant to mock a religion, even to the point of slander and intentional misrepresentation? It’s hard to understand how libel fits into the definition of tolerance.

Therein lies the hypocrisy of liberalism. You see, liberals have changed the definition of tolerance to better suit their agenda. It’s perfectly fine to believe whatever you want, so long as you believe exactly what they believe. Liberals say tolerance is accepting other beliefs as true; merely respecting alternate belief systems, to liberals, is another degree of intolerance. And if you refuse to uphold this liberal dogma then you are a heartless bigot that deserves to be ridiculed.

In reality, liberals are often some of the most hateful and intolerant people on the face of this earth.

The US Department of Justice has ordered the state of Georgia to stop verifying voter registrations. Not only does this prevent Georgia from verifying that voters are actually citizens, but it prevents the state from verifying that the person even exists! Now non-citizens and dead people can legally vote! That is how much Obama hates democracy.

Yes, this is really happening. Read this memo issued by the Georgia Secretary of State, in which she rebukes the “shocking disregard for the integrity of our elections.”

This mandate from the Obama Administration is completely illogical and unnecessary. Not a single person has come forward to say he or she could not vote because of the verification process.

It’s quite obvious that Obama is trying to facilitate his fellow “community organizers.” Members of undeniably corrupt organizations like ACORN will be casting votes in every precinct under a different name. Truck loads of illegals will be taken to the polls. Democracy is under assault; not in a country on the other side of the world, but right here in the United States.

The Obama Administration is corrupt and power-thirsty… A dangerous combination. But Hugo Chavez said it best: “Comrade Obama! Fidel, careful or we are going to end up to his right!”

Once again, President Obama has proven he doesn’t have a clue.

Lately, he’s been saying that our values will shield us from terrorism. But despite Obama’s code of conduct crusade, Osama bin Laden has issued another threat to the United States. He says “Obama has planted new seeds of hatred” and Americans should be prepared to suffer the consequences. So exactly how is our president going to protect us with his enchanted value system? And have “values” really inspired terrorism in the past? Who’s values? Bill Clinton’s values? Bush had only been in office a short time when 9/11 occurred.

Meanwhile, our president seems perfectly content to remain in his magical world of fantasy and imagination. The White House issued a statement saying this isn’t a real threat, al Qaeda is just trying to distract people from Obama’s speech. Instead of throwing a temper tantrum about not receiving enough attention, maybe Obama should get out of campaign mode and start thinking about a realistic strategy to keep this country safe.

Osama bin Laden, Alive and Well

The threat reveals that Osama bin Laden is alive, aware of current events, and in communication with the outside world. Remember when President Obama said that Osama isn’t a threat as long as he’s hiding in a cave somewhere? Man, and people thought George W. Bush was stupid.

Now Obama is even suggesting that the United States is one of the largest Muslim nations. Sorry, but a two percent Muslim population doesn’t qualify this country as a Muslim nation by any stretch of the imagination. Much less one of the largest Muslim nations in the world.

This man is just pathetic. He really thinks that everyone will like us better if he goes around telling the world that Americans have poor values. Maybe he could try reminding radical Muslims that we were the ones who liberated Kuwaiti Muslims, protected Kosovoian Muslims, helped Bosnian Muslims, and feed Somali Muslims, just to name a few.

Just how incompetent are the Democrats in power?

The $1 trillion dollar stimulus package overlooked thousands and thousands of shovel-ready jobs that are provided by maintaining and expanding our highway system. As a result, the American highway funds will be completely broke by August this year. Why did the Democrats slate “stimulus” spending for 2012 without even considering what can be done to help our economy this year? Sustaining and creating highway projects should be the most obvious way to create jobs, especially at a time when the construction industry is hurting.

But don’t worry, the liberal airheads already have a solution - and it shouldn’t surprise anyone. An additional $450 billion transportation bill is up for discussion.

According to the latest Rasmussen poll, 58% of Americans think that the stimulus package has not helped the economy at all, and 27% of these even think that it has hurt the economy. The surprising part is that 31% of Americans are actually stupid enough to believe that the stimulus package has helped the economy. When are you people going to realize that the Democrats’ spending bill had nothing to do with economic stimulus? The legislation included everything from health care to tattoo removal without even setting aside money to sustain highway projects.

Meanwhile, the unemployment rate continues to skyrocket.
